How I helped reframe Handl.e Pictures’s story for a new era
Brand Name: Handl.e Pictures
Objective: To revitalize a legacy brand by transforming an outdated vision into a dynamic, future-focused identity with global relevance
My Role: Creative Director, Writer and Project Manager
Handl.e Pictures, once a celebrated creative powerhouse, faced a brand identity crisis. After 20 years of producing large-scale immersive events, shifting business priorities and tighter budgets left its outdated identity disconnected from its core strength—transformative, high-impact leadership experiences.
The challenge: reframe the brand to resonate with a new generation of leaders and innovators.
Post-pandemic, Handl.e Pictures needed a fresh start. Working closely with my co-creator and the client, we rebuilt the brand from the ground up—redefining the vision, mission, and values, and crafting a bold new identity.
I led the messaging overhaul, transitioning from German to English to unlock global opportunities. We refreshed the logo, typography, and color palette, redesigned the website for a seamless UX, and delivered a full marketing toolkit to help Handl.e own their narrative.
We took a hands-on, collaborative approach, ensuring the new identity felt like a natural evolution.
Key deliverables:
Brand Identity: New logo, color palette, typography, aligned with innovation and collaboration
Website Redesign: Streamlined navigation and user journey
Marketing Toolkit: Social assets, flyers, brand guidelines, tone-of-voice framework
Rebranding a legacy company demands trust and collaboration. By involving Handl.e throughout the process, we honored their history while preparing them for the future—a reminder that brands must evolve to stay relevant.
